After their Graduation from University of Nebraska, Chalise and Jane with full of dreams and ambitions decided to walk on path that would give them some sense of purpose and satisfaction. At the same time, they wanted to do something that would not only better their own life but also help improve others in need as well.

Through their travels in many countries, Chalise and Jane found their true calling that would give them some sense of purpose and satisfaction. They wanted to help talented artists in very poor countries. This new sense of purpose drove and motivated them to find artists from the countries like Nepal, Chad, Cambodia, Ethiopia and Bhutan.

After several visits and months in these places, they felt the need to help several artists, who were economically depressed but were very talented in their crafts and creativities. Chalise and Jane felt changing times, limited resources, and the lack of proper knowledge became burden to those artists and their family. Just to keep the family feeding, these artists had to find alternative labor work, because they could no longer survive on their talents alone.

After coming back to home and with lots of convincing to friends and family, Chalise and Jane raised a substantial amount of money to invest in the talented artists. Every season after researching on trends and designs, they would then share them with each artist. Each artist would than come up with his or her own fusion design, which we here at WEGOTRINGS.COM help market all over the world.

As a result, we now have line of products, which is designed and hand made by many individual artists and their families from the poorest countries in Asia and Africa. Each artist gets a monthly salary as well as a percentage from the profit of each product that is created.

Because of our effort and your help, after ten years we are now seeing happy smiles back on artists that were in very difficult situations previously. The artists are now surviving on their talents and bringing more excitement, creativity to the world.
